Diriwayatkan bahwasanya Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda: Jibril mengajariku  sebuah obat dengannya saya tidak lagi butuh pada obat lain dan dokter. 

فقال أبو بكر وعمر وعثمان وعلي رضي الله عنهم: وما هو يا رسول الله؟ إن  بنا حاجة إلى هذا الدواء

Kemudian Abu Bakr, Umar, Utsman dan Ali, bertanya; Apa itu, wahai Rasulullah? Sesungguhnya kami membutuhkan obat tersebut.

فقال: يؤخذ شيئ من ماء المطر وتتلى عليه فاتحة  الكتاب، وسورة الإخلاص، والفلق، والناس، وآية الكرسي. كل واحدة سبعين  مرة ويشرب غدوة وعشية سبعة أيام

Lalu Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda:
Obat itu berupa air hujan yang dibacakan surat Al-Fatihah, Al-Ikhlash, Al-Falaq, An-Nas, dan Ayat Kursiy. Masing-masing dibaca sebanyak 70 kali. Diminum pagi dan  sore selama 7 hari.

فو الذي بعثني بالحق نبيا، لقد قال لي  جبريل: إنه من شرب من هذا الماء رفع الله عن جسده كل داء وعافاه من جميع  الأمراض والأوجاع. ومن سقي منه امرأته ونام معها حملت بإذن الله تعالى

Demi Dzat yang telah mengutusku dengan hak sebagai seorang Nabi, sungguh Jibril telah berkata kepadaku: ” Sesungguhnya, barang siapa meminum air tersebut, maka Allah akan menghilangkan segala penyakit dari tubuhnya.
Dan Allah akan menyembuhkan  dari semua macam penyakit. Dan barangsiapa pula meminumkan air tersebut  pada istrinya, lalu tidur bersama dengan sang istri , maka istri akan  bisa hamil dengan idzin Allah”
Di akhir penjelasan, Imam Al-Qalyubi mengomentari bahkan air ini juga berkhasiat menyembuhkan mata yang sakit, menghilangkan guna-guna, santet dan sihir serta menghilangkan dahak.

Bisa juga menyembuhkan sakit dada, sakit gigi, gangguan pencernaan, sembelit, kecing tidak lancar. dan tidak butuh dibekam (canduk) dan masih banyak lagi manfaat lainnya yang hanya Allah yang tahu.
